Policy Development

Policy Development

Policies are the key driver which should influence and determine all major decisions and actions within an organisation. They should reflect the views, ethics, ambitions and commitments of your organisation and be supported by everyone, from the top to the bottom of the business. However it's easy to fall into the trap of developing policies to meet commissioning requirements, or adopting a policy from an online source which bears little relation to your business. It doesn't have to be this way! You can have policies that are meaningful to you and your teams, that reflect your business and your ethics, and that help you move towards the future you have planned.

Whether you are a new organisation who needs to develop policies from scratch, have existing policies that need reviewing, or want independent validation and challenge of some of your policies, W2W Solutions is able to help.

With over 25 years experience of working within the employment, skills, and community sector, there isn't much we haven't seen. We've been there to experience hands-on the introduction and disbanding of the Independent Safeguarding Authority, the introduction of the Equality Act 2010, the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulations, the growth of the environmental and sustainability agenda .... in relation to policy, there isn't much we haven't seen.

We have supported:
  • an international organisation to establish an Equality & Diversity Scheme
  • a language school with a full policy review, challenging existing approaches, reworking policies and providing direction
  • a not-for-profit training organisation to carry out a review of their entire catalogue of policies to streamline them and better reflect their business needs, and improve their approach to creating and managing policies
  • a third sector start up to create essential policies including Health & Safety, Equality, Sustainability, Safeguarding and Data Protection
  • a small charity to review their policies to ensure they're fit for new business opportunities
  • critique of policies of a learning disability charity as part of our wider activity with them, highlighting where they could make improvements

Let us help you develop or improve your policies and take your organisation in a direction you truly believe in.
