Work Programme Statistics

The Office for National Statistics have published dates for the release of Work Programme data.  At this stage it is only the number of referrals and attachments that will be published. This information was planned for release at this time, so it isn't a victory for those baying for Work Programme figures to be published, it was going to happen anyway. Publication dates are:

  • 21 February
  • 9 May
  • 8 August
  • 7 November

ONS haven't released any details of when the outcome data will be published so don't hold your breath!

For those of you who were unaware, there is also quarterly data available Pre-Work Programme Employment Support Measures. The data was first published in November 11 but is limited to Work Experience Placements, New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) Mentor Starts and NEA Allowance Starts.  Data on Sector-based Work Academy starts and Skills Conditionality starts should appear in the figures released in February, but there is no sign of Mandatory Work Activity data, so when this will be released we aren't sure. DWP don't have any idea about Work Clubs, Work Together and Enterprise Clubs so there won't be any data published about these initiatives.

You can find this data in the People & Places theme, Social Protection & Benefits section of the UK National Statistics Hub.
