Robust Training - Driving up Standards

Robust Training parked their buses outside the front of the Novotel at St Pancras throughout the Welfare to Work Convention on 17th February 2009.  Jonathan Hunt and Kevin Taylor were on hand to show visitors the mobile training facilities.

Those delegates who didn’t manage to get a guided tour of the space age, hi tech, and innovative mobile training facilities missed out.  As quality consultants, we are not easily impressed, but all we can say about the Robustraina and Activtraina is “WOW”!  The level of facilities quality of equipment and resources, and commitment of the Robust Training team is excellent, and nothing seems to have been missed, with IT, phones, satellite TV, video facilities, music equipment, kitchen/refreshments.

The availability of such a professional and high quality training environment, will do a lot to raise the game in the approach to outreach training provision.

Not only do Robust Training deliver their own programmes (Skills for Life, IT, NVQs, Train to Gain), but they also offer leasing facilities so that other organisations can make use of their mobile training environment. An option well worth exploring for providers looking to expand their delivery and use an innovative approach to accessing hard to reach clients.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Roger Lynch (founder and chief executive) but would like to congratulate him on his achievements.  We wish Robust Training every success, and would advise anyone wanting access to this resource, to get in touch with the team.
