Momenta Accreditation is No More

In a Notice to Providers, DWP have announced that the Momenta Accreditation Service has now been closed and providers are no longer required to submit accreditation documentation to AEA for evaluation.

Apparently the Provision Management Division (PMD) Account Manger will take forward responsibility for ensuring that providers comply with government legislation on Health & Safety; Equality & Diversity and Insurance.

So for all of those providers who have very recently submitted revised documentation to AEA and spent valuable time uploading and updating their information, that's another tick in the "what a waste of time that was" box!  While the service never really added value, and AEA did little to improve policies or practice, it's frustrating that this couldn't have been done sooner, saving a lot of people a lot of trouble!
