Learning Innovation Grant - Phase 5

The LSC has launched the latest phase of the Learning Innovation Grant (LIG) project to support the Government's e-learning strategy Harnessing Technology.  The latest phase offers £3 million to help transform the way people learn in the workplace by making innovative use of technology.

The latest evaluation shows that LIG-funded programmes are having a direct impact on learner engagement, motivation, retention and achievement, with 88% of providers reporting improvements. Providers are improving e-learning capacity and capability and integrating ICT and e-learning into delivery processes.

The LIG prospectus will be released on 4 September on the ALP e-learning website.  Single bids for LIG phase 5 will be in the range of £25 -100k with consortium bids ranging from £50 -150k.  There is a focus on sustainability, accessibility, green technologies, e-safety and efficiency.  ALP are also offering a matching service to help providers get in touch with other like-minded organisations to develop bids.

Visit the ALP e-learning website for full information about phase 5 of the Learning Innovation Grant.

Note - The ALP e-learning website is part of the Excellence Gateway and supports the work-based learning sector to make effective use of e-learning and ICT.
