BITC have announced the launch of Get Ready, a new programme that supports homeless people in getting into work, giving them early access to interventions such as taster days, employer led activities and mentoring. This builds on the success of BITC's Ready to Work programme that has helped 5500 people to date. It helps to take forward the agenda of the cross-parliament Ministerial Working Group who published Vision to End Rough Sleeping.
Details of Get Ready are thin on the ground at the moment but keep an eye on the BITC website for more information in due course or use the contact details on their website for more information.
