Framework for Excellence 2009 Results

... there aren’t any!

The LSC have announced that they will not put individual Framework for Excellence provider results in the public domain in 2009.  They will be publishing some national headlines for comparison and benchmarking purposes. Many providers have been experiencing problems with the learner surveys, not only the short timescale and the sample size required, but also in some cases the system not appearing to record the returns that were made.

Providers should have received a letter from Geoff Russell to explain the rationale behind the decision, so if anyone can update us further then please do so.

Watch out at the end of July for the Framework for Excellence: Unified Post-16 performance assessment policy document which will be outline how the Framework data will be used in 2010.  There is also a Framework for Excellence: Provider Guide 2009 due out shortly.
